169. How to Expand Your Capacity When You Keep Telling Yourself You Can't Do More
I just had one of the biggest weeks of my life since having my second baby and it was life-changing.
If you've been tuning into the podcast lately you have heard me talk A LOT about capacity.
I've unpacked why I am cutting back on the offers I sell, the amount of content I create, the annual conference, and so much more because I truly felt like doing big things was just not for me during this season.
And as I am aware I still very much don't have the capacity I used to, this past week taught me that if I really wanted to I could most definitely lock-in and expand my capacity to do big things.
This episode is your reminder that you self-doubt might be keeping you from the very life you are currently building. You can show up in big ways, you can do hard things but it is going to take some very real conversations to help you get there.
In this episode I shared:
-How Askign for help is still the broken record we need to be hearing daily (especially as first-gen mamas)
-Rest is as important as having the help to support you in showing up in big ways
-It is okay to slow down after having an expanding experience
-You decided how you want to show up and don't feel guilty for doing it all as long as you are taking care of yourself during and after.
Overall what I want you to take away from this conversation is that yes, having a big life is hard, creating impact is hard, building something from scratch is hard, and doing it all while being a mom? Even harder. But we have it within us to do hard things. And we must take care of ourselves in the process.
You got this, amiga.
